I guess I've been busy so that's the reason for the delay. I've got a crunch week coming up so don't expect much online activity from me. Let's see...formal presentation in Public Speaking on Wednesday...or Friday...or maybe Monday...she hasn't told me my presentation day. (Please, PLEASE be Friday!) Then I have a Chinese test on Wednesday and a Business Calculus test on Thursday. The Jazz test is a take-home, but I've got to write 3-4 essays for that. Bleh. And it has all this technical music stuff that I don't know the terminology for.

Anyway, I've got some other stuff I need to do this week. Other than academic stuff, I'm supposed to design a T-shirt for the Chinese Student Group on campus, of which I am the only non-Chinese member. Imagine that. So far I have been forbidden from using the Great Wall of China in my design, but other than that I think it's pretty open. We're also having a BBQ next Sunday, $3 a person. Coming up is also the Mid-Autumn Festival at Capstone. There will be Dragon/Lion dancing...whatever that means. By the way, my name in Chinese is by far the funniest-sounding in our class. It's 麦蕊蕊, which is Mai Rui Rui--and it sounds vaguely like "My Ray Ray." Whatever.

Also, I'm going home this weekend where I will restock on books since I ran out here and I'm too lazy to find something interesting in the library. Plus, I need to get more posters from home since the ceilings are high in our rooms and we have more wall space. I think it's an evil plot to get us to buy more posters at the USC bookstore.
